The volume by Everest on Israel is very readable, well organized and deals with the important issues. A valuable contribution.

~Dr. Albert Beutler, former President of Bethel College, Mishawaka, Indiana
Best book I have read regarding Israel and related prophecies. This book is a culmination of many  years of reading, research and revelation. I believe God's gracious hand was upon Quinton in producing this marvelous work regarding Israel the Chosen.

~Burton J. Schultz, Public School Principal & Adjunct Professor, Cornerstone University

A fascinating read and scholarly work that reads like a novel, “Israel the Chosen” succeeds where few others have. The author’s love for the Jewish People and its history meets his devotion to Jesus in a way that merges them all and leaves the reader to ponder how each of these could possibly be anything but Divinely intertwined.

~ Carole Gold, Attorney, Author & Inspirational Speaker
A fascinating, well-researched book that covers virtually every aspect of Judaism: history, politics, economics, exile, and, most importantly, redemption. He explains how God is enabling the return of His chosen people, not only to their homeland, but also to Himself through Yeshua the Messiah.

Both ancient and modern Israel may be likened to the bush seen by Moses in the desert—ablaze with fire, yet not consumed. When the Jewish people have their own state, the danger of annihilation is always a threat. When they are dispersed, they live in dread of harassment, massacres and expulsion. Their nation-state is small, their people are few, yet their giftedness makes them the object of envy. Therefore, they are more vulnerable than any other people. To those who have regard for the one true God, they have been a gift to the world, for they are the people of a particular covenant whom He has elected to be His servant.

The Jewish destiny of suffering will reach its climax when all the nations unite to descend upon Israel with the intent to finally rid the world of Jewish influence—yes, even of its population. Here is a prophecy that would have been doubted in past ages but that is much easier to find credible in today’s world. [See: Zechariah 12:1-3] In the wars against the new state of Israel, the Arabs were frank in announcing that this was a war of annihilation. Arab influence in the United Nations…the world’s media bias toward the Palestinian viewpoint; the secularism blanketing Europe; and global lawlessness and moral decay have all resulted in increasing anger throughout the world toward Israel the Chosen. The hatred nurtured in the heart of Arab peoples has spread worldwide. The Chosen People have increasingly become the worldwide object of extreme enmity.
But as promised, the Lord of Hosts will take things in hand, will show compassion to the House of Israel and will strengthen and save her. He is jealous, and He is determined.

The author contends that the Jewish people remain a witness today in spite of their unfaithfulness. Through their preservation of scripture, they have given us the story of God’s mighty acts, the Mosaic Law and, most of all, the promised Messiah. Their human endowments have been a gift to the world as the nation has come to take a place of unusual influence in technology and international affairs. Their resilience following waves of persecution has been phenomenal, and their re-emergence stands as a sign of the times.

Scrutiny is given to modern Judaism—Orthodox, Conservative and Reform–and to rabbinical statements concerning Old Testament prophecies of the coming Messiah.

Finally, the author points to events and yearnings that have coalesced to bring about the return to Zion, paving the way for the promised rebirth of the nation and the revelation of the true Messiah.

Scripture is given the primary place in the book’s arguments complemented with quotes and excerpts from evangelical Old Testament commentaries. Well-known Jewish scholars, Jewish and Christian theologians and public figures are also quoted–persons such as Anne Frank, Benedict XIV, Karl Barth, Winston Churchill and Dietrich Bonhoeffer along with a plentitude of observations from Jewish historians and rabbis.
